ISO/DIS 6426-2 is a Draft International Standard that will replace the ISO 6426-2:2002 standard. ISO 6426-2:2002 is a standard that defines the technical and commercial terms used in the horological industry. 

They apply to time measuring instruments and related devices. In detail, the definitions are concerned with: general terms; time measuring instruments; rate of a time measuring instrument; essential devices and parts; functions, indications and additional devices; components and miscellaneous.
