ISO 9211-4:2022 is an international standard that describes test methods for measuring the abrasion, adhesion, and water resistance of optical coatings. These tests are used to evaluate the environmental durability of coatings.

ISO 9211 describes surface treatments of components and substrates, excluding ophthalmic optics (spectacles), by the application of optical coatings and gives a standard form for their specification.
