ISO 17479:2013 is an International Standard that specifies measurement methods for direct measurement of gaseous exhaust emissions from motorcycles. It defines how to measure the concentration of exhaust gases, such as carbon monoxide and hydrocarbons, during the no-load engine operating condition. This standard is applicable to motorcycles with spark ignition engines (four-stroke or two-stroke) and can be used for periodic inspections, roadside checks, and maintenance purposes.
