ISO 11446-1:2012 is an international standard that specifies the dimensional characteristics, contact allocation, and tests for 13-pin connectors used for the electrical connection of towing and towed vehicles with a 12V nominal supply voltage. It doesn't apply to vehicles intended to cross water fords. The standard also includes specifications for a park socket to store the disconnected plug.
