ISO 13253:2017 is an International Standard that specifies performance testing, standard conditions, and test methods for determining the capacity and efficiency ratings of ducted air-cooled air conditioners and air-to-air heat pumps. It applies to residential, commercial, and industrial single-package and split-system air conditioners and heat pumps. The standard is applicable to factory-made, electrically driven, and mechanically compressed systems, including those with single, multiple, and variable capacity components.
