ISO 5136:2003 is an international standard that provides a method for determining the sound power radiated into a duct by fans and other air-moving devices using the in-duct method. It is used to measure sound pressure levels in the inlet or outlet ducts of a fan and calculate the sound power levels radiated by the fan into the duct system. This standard was published in 2003 and last reviewed in 2023.
