ISO 17515-3:2019 is an international standard focusing on Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS). Specifically, it defines the specifications for the access layer of a communication interface called "ITS-LTE-V2X". This standard leverages the evolved-universal terrestrial radio access (E-UTRA) vehicle-to-everything (LTE-V2X) technology, which is standardized by 3GPP, to enable ITS-LTE-V2X as an access technology within an ITS station.
