ISO 841:2001 is an International Standard that defines the machine coordinate system and motion nomenclature for numerically controlled (NC) machines and industrial robots. The standard was published in 2001 and has been confirmed in 2023. It specifies how to describe the primary motions of individual machines, associated machine motions, tool coordinates, work space points, and drawing points.
