ISO 3951-1:2022 is an international standard that provides single sampling plans for lot-by-lot inspection, particularly when dealing with a continuing series of lots and a single measurable quality characteristic. This standard applies when the quality characteristic follows a normal distribution or a close approximation to it, and when production is under statistical control. It specifies acceptance quality limits (AQLs) to guide the decision of whether to accept or reject a lot.
