ISO/TS 5387:2023 is an international standard focused on measuring the lung burden mass of nanomaterials after inhalation exposure. It provides guidance for assessing the amount of nanomaterial retained in the lungs following inhalation, which can be used to study lung clearance and translocation of nanomaterials, according to ISO.
