ISO/FDIS 19232-3 is a standard that specifies the minimum image quality values for radiographs, ensuring consistent radiographic quality. It's a draft international standard, meaning it's in the final stage of approval before becoming a fully published standard. This standard applies to both wire-type and step/hole-type image quality indicators (IQIs) as defined in ISO 19232-1 and ISO 19232-2, respectively. It also covers two radiographic techniques (A and B) described in ISO 5579.
