ISO 565:1990 is an international standard that specifies the nominal sizes of openings for metal wire cloth, perforated metal plates, and electroformed sheets used as sieving media in test sieves. It was published in 1990 and last reviewed and confirmed in 2023. The standard covers both square and circular openings and includes tables with principal and supplementary sizes, expressed in millimeters for sizes 1 mm and above and in micrometers for sizes below 1 mm.
