ISO 6394:2008 is an International Standard that specifies a method for determining the emission sound pressure level of earth-moving machinery. Specifically, it defines how to measure the noise emitted by these machines at the operator's position while they are stationary. The measurement uses a time-averaged A-weighted sound pressure level, taken when the engine is running at its rated speed under no-load conditions.
