ISO/TS 21361:2025 is a technical specification published by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) that provides a method to quantify and identify the concentration of carbon black and/or amorphous silica particles in the nanoparticle size range within air samples collected in a mixed dust, industrial, manufacturing environment. This specification uses an electrical low-pressure cascade impactor (ELPCI) for sampling, followed by Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM) and Energy-Dispersed X-ray Spectroscopy (EDS) analysis to determine particle morphology and elemental composition.
