ISO/TS 23690:2023 is an ISO technical specification that details a method for determining the carbon impurity content in multiwall carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) using thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) under carbon dioxide atmosphere. Specifically, it focuses on measuring the content of carbon impurities less stable than the MWCNTs themselves. This method is applicable to MWCNT samples prepared by chemical vapor deposition (CVD) and can be referenced for other MWCNT preparation methods.
