ISO 6541:1981 is an international standard that specifies a modified Scharrer method for determining the crude fibre content of agricultural food products. This method is particularly applicable to cereals, cereal products, and certain products with less than 1% crude fiber. The standard was last reviewed and confirmed in 2021, says ISO - International Organization for Standardization.
