ISO 20647:2015 is an International Standard that specifies a method for quantitatively determining total iodine in infant formula and adult nutritional formula. This method utilizes Inductively Coupled Plasma-Mass Spectrometry (ICP-MS). It covers a range of total iodine concentrations in infant formula and adult nutritional formula, from 0.5 to 1500 µg/100g for reconstituted final products, and 2.5 to 1000 µg/100g for ready-to-feed products.
