ISO 6491:1998 is an International Standard titled "Animal feeding stuffs -- Determination of phosphorus content -- Spectrometric method". It specifies a spectrometric method for determining the phosphorus content in animal feeding stuffs, particularly suitable for low phosphorus content materials. The standard is applicable to animal feeding stuffs with a phosphorus content less than 50 g/kg.
