ISO 17180:2013 is an International Standard that specifies a method for quantitatively determining the amount of free (non-proteinbound) lysine, methionine, and threonine in commercial animal feed products and premixtures. The standard applies to products containing more than about 10% mass fraction of these specific amino acids. The standard does not differentiate between d- and l-forms of the amino acids.
