ISO 21528-1:2017 is an international standard that provides a horizontal method for detecting Enterobacteriaceae in food and animal feed, as well as environmental samples from primary production, food production, and food handling. It's applicable when the number of Enterobacteriaceae is expected to be below 100 per milliliter or gram of the sample.
