ISO 14189:2013 is an international standard that specifies a method for enumerating the number of Clostridium perfringens bacteria, both vegetative cells and spores, in water samples using a membrane filtration technique. It's applicable to various water types as long as they don't contain particulate or colloidal matter that would hinder filtration.
