ISO 21151:2020 is an international standard that provides requirements for protocols that achieve equivalent results for the same measurand among two or more in vitro diagnostic medical devices (IVD MDs). It's used when there are no established reference measurement procedures or certified materials, and it defines the highest level of metrological traceability for the specific measurand.
