ISO 7212:1986 is an international standard that specifies the properties of lead shielding units used in the construction of enclosures for protection against ionizing radiation. It covers lead units for walls with thicknesses of 50 mm and 100 mm, including basic units (bricks, posts) and functional units (aperture bricks, windows, etc.). The standard was last reviewed and confirmed in 2022.
