ISO 21482:2007

ISO 21482:2007 defines a supplementary symbol to warn of dangerous levels of ionizing radiation from sealed radioactive sources. It's not meant to replace the basic ionizing radiation symbol (ISO 361), but rather to supplement it. This symbol is designed to alert individuals to potential radiation hazards and encourage them to stay away from the source. The symbol was developed through a joint project between the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) and the International Organization for Standardization (ISO).
